July Memories

In July Taye got to have a sleepover with his friend Roscoe, who used to live in our basement. He now lived in Tremonton about an hour away.

Girls camp was so much fun this year because mom was the young women's president so she basically planned it. We went to a Boys Scout camp up north and did a lot of fun activities, like archery and rappelling. Zildy was the oldest leader and the only one that did all of the activities with the girls. It was really nice to be able to be with Jasmine at the camps for her last year.

We took a trip to St. Anthony Idaho to see our friends the Chase's. This time we went to Bear World and they had a butterfly habitat that was cool.

Our friends the Barnes invite us up to their cabin every summer. Taye and Zuri got to go sleepover for one night this year.

Alex got a boat, and took us all out to the lake! It was so much fun and Taye got to try Wake Surfing. Of course he was a natural and did amazing!

We took a mall outing to Valley Fair mall to ride the electronic animals.

The kids and mom went to work at Rock Springs WY and had our annual tip wars competition. This has become a really great tradition and mom loves that we all work hard together. We were saving up for a trip to a Caribbean island.

We found out about a grand opening that a new park was doing. We went with cousins, and there were some vendors handing out free things and then we got to ride canoes. It was a perfect summer night!

Mommy and Zuri date to get snow cones!

After the pandemic we started doing a lot more playground hopping. It was so fun to go around to see the awesome parks in and around Salt Lake. Often times we would bring friends too, like the Ruiz's.

Kailee and Zuri have a close bond. They liked to play Calico Critters together.

Ruth and kids came to visit and it was great to have dinner with them!

Taye was now able to go to Young Mens camps. He loved fishing and all of the other activities.

Youth Conference around Marysvale, Utah. It was such a fun time, and although we didn't get to do white water rafting because the water was too low, we did do some rock climbing and several high adventure activities.

Another one of Taye's hobbies: humongous cardboard creations!
