Jasmine birthday

Jasmine turned 18 and is officially considered an adult! She celebrated by having a sleepover with Shayden at his little cabin, and then going to Lagoon with her friend Ellise. The Fajardo's got her a delicious cheesecake, and Brianna and Ellie took to her out to celebrate on another day too. We had to fit in a trip to Leatherbys for Tracy's Peanut Butter Cup, and she also had a fun Sunday dinner with the whole family too! Jasmine is determined, and a hard worker and makes everything fun.

July times

In July we kept going to Classic Fun center because the kids had summer passes. Taye went to Young Men's camp. We took a trip to Idaho to see our friends and Leah was the lead in a play called The Foreigner. She did awesome! We also went on our yearly (for now) trip to Rock Springs WY. Shayden came along this year! We had a great time and it was right after Lake Powell so when everyone headed home to Salt Lake, our family went straight to Wyoming. Two more things we did in July were the 24th of July festival. This year they did not have a fireworks show but instead did an awesome light show. We watched it from the roof of the van! And lastly, Kailee and Sidney were in West Side Story in an outdoor amphitheater. I didn't get a picture of the show but I did get a silly picture of us!

Independence Day and Lake Powell Vacation!

The Fajardo family planned a big reunion to Lake Powell this year! Julio came into town and since he didn't want to be on the boat the whole time, he took grandparents on a trip. So we got to see him for a little bit, which was nice. Then we had to miss the first day of Lake Powell because of the Layton Day festival on the holiday. Jasmine helped at the festival this year, and the younger kids came and visited for a while. Then Zildy and Jasmine went separately to see fireworks with friends before leaving super early the next morning. It was our first time going to Lake Powell and it was amazing! We had a cool houseboat and in true Fajardo fashion, did not fit all of us. So most slept up on the deck. We had tons of water toys to play on and two jetskis too! It was so fun to all be together, even our Texas cousins. All of us including mom tried wave surfing and got up on the board!
