It started off normal enough. During winter break, Mom took Taye and his friends from carpool to the trampoline park and to Ikea for a treat.
Blossom got to try a puppuccino at Starbucks.
For Martin Luther King Jr day we always try to do some sort of service. This year Ascent Academy was doing a project making ugly dolls for patients at the children's hospital. It was done through Taye's Junior coach program, and cousins came along too.
Taye got his temple recommend and made a goal to go once a week. So every Wednesday we would get up early and go do baptisms. It was such a good thing that we did this, because of the events that unfolded later in the year.
Mom was able to go with Zuri on her 1st grade field trip! They went to the butterfly biosphere at Thanksgiving point.
Taye played Basketball with Murray City again.
We found another opportunity to do service by preparing food boxes for those in need. This time we were able to take the younger kids. The Browns met us there too.
