Jasmine got to go to Boston to visit family all by herself!

The time finally came for Shayden to come home, so we picked him up in Boise Idaho. It was great to see him again! They did a ceremony where a few people gave speeches about their time there, and Shayden was picked to give one. He made some really strong connections with the people he was with and his supervisor was impressed with him.


We got a hotel to stay in for the night and Shay took a much needed shower. Then we had a buffet dinner that night. 

When we got back from Idaho, it was time for the first day of school. Jasmine had to leave to walk to the bus stop at 6:20 AM! Zuri in her 1st grade class with Sr. Mendez and Mrs. Flores.

After dropping the kids off, the parents took Shayden out to breakfast so we could hear all about his experience. 

We had to go get ice cream at the end of the day, of course. 

10th grade, 5th grade and 1st grade!

Jasmine had her first performance with dance company, during the welcome assembly. 

The ward had the 24th of July breakfast in August this year. The bishopric and primary put on a fun parade.

And we had to have an end of summer slip and slide bash with cousins!
