Shayden’s 18th birthday and graduation!

Shayden turned 18 and it was a big month with his graduation happening the day after, and having family in town.

We had a birthday dinner at cousins, and celebrated Cee Ryle's birthday too, of course. Aunt Dricka and Jonas made all sorts of yummy southern food.

Before graduation, the school had an awards ceremony and Shayden was surprised to hear he earned the one for musical theater.

Graduation was a great day, and it was even better because we had family in from so far away.

Afterwards we went to dinner at Bucca di Beppo, and the Browns met us there.

The scene in June

June started out with Zildy going to Florida to meet Aunt Shawndricka and her boys in Florida. They got stuck there trying to fly standby and the only way they could make it to Utah and Shay's graduation, is if Zildy flew with them. And of course they had to go to the beach. It was the first time seeing the Atlantic ocean for them!

Taye had a chance to do Biztown and he got to work at Chick-fil-a and Smiths.

He also started playing basketball again. And his cousins got to see him play this time.

Aunt Dricka was nice enough to do Jasmine's hair.

The day before graduation, AISU threw a big end of year carnival and they even hired My Kids' Entertainment to do the face painting and glitter tattoos. Even our out of town guests got their faces painted!

School ended and it was time to say goodbye to the American International School of Utah. Everyone was so sad. Shayden was so lucky to get to graduate before it closed.

We got to go see the new Aladdin movie. It was so good!

Grandma Dorothy also came into town for Shayden's graduation, and Jonas took them all to see the snow in the mountains. It was the first time for several of them.

Right after they all went home, girls camp happened. It was a great time!
We attended the big summer party that Jetblue throws every year.

Father's Day 2019. We made a yummy breakfast in the morning and then had dinner and presents at night.
Cee Ryle spending time with Zuri making crafts.

Ruth came to town and we got to see her for one day. We had dinner and caught up.

Zuri took a class at Microsoft.

Free Jamba Juice day.

Jasmine was supposed to go to EFY with a friend but when that didn't work out, she had to decide whether to cancel, or go with a random group of girls. She decided to still go and had a great time. She met a girl named Kelli and they became fast friends. She also met Jaya and Koby Kissi and Laura's kids there by coincidence!

Taye did really well at the Track meets for cross country. Here he is doing an amazing long jump!

Towards the end of the month we went to Sacramento to see the Kissi's. Taye couldn't go so he stayed home with Jonas so for the first part it was a girls trip. There's a really funny story that goes with the picture of Zuri trying to put on her sweater. It was so good to see them and Wendy so generously colored Zildy's hair with some fun colors.

All of the girls went to get pedicures together. On our last day we visited the Sacramento temple which was so pretty, and Wendy drove us into San Francisco. Shayden flew in and we picked him up at the airport. We went around to see the sights such as had a Ghirardelli sundae, watching seals at the pier, and riding down the famous Lombard Street.

When we got back, it was time for Taylorsville Dayzz.
Zuri did a summer camp at Wonderbloom, the outdoor preschool that Sarah started.
